I am a Associate Certified Coach with 25 years experience in education in a variety of leadership, student support, teaching, and training roles. I have facilitated and presented to both large and small groups of students and adults in many professional settings, both in person and virtually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In my first career in K-12 education, I moved through a number of increasingly senior roles and took on new challenges in new school environments. In 2021, I made the leap to the post-secondary world as the First Year Retention Coordinator in the First Nations House of Learning at UBC<\/a> prior to moving to work for a national not-for-profit organization as a Learning Quality Specialist. In my role, I support trainees with coaching and instruction, and train technical specialists to be classroom and on-the-job instructors, through training courses, coaching, and feedback. I have first-hand experience of the complexities of working in large and small organizations, both as a leader and as a colleague, and have both led and taken part in change initiatives.\u00a0 In my coaching practice, I have a natural affinity for those in education\/training and career transition, and am equally adept at coaching in other sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
