Alison McCallum

I have a Bachelor and Master of Arts in French Literature and started teaching in 1996. After 12 years teaching French (and two daughters), I moved into academic and post-secondary advising roles, completing a Diploma in Education in Guidance Studies. I was the Director of University Counselling and Student Support Services in British Columbia independent schools before making the leap to new professional adventures, first to post-secondary student services and now to corporate training.

Why use me as a coach?

In my coaching practice, I have a natural affinity for those in education/training and career transitions, and I am equally adept at coaching in other sectors. My coach training (Royal Roads University) was in Executive Coaching and I am now an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with International Coach Federation. I am also certified in both the Strong Interest Inventory and MBTI assessment tools, and use these tools with clients.

In 2021, I completed an 8 month Anti-Racism and Anti-Oppression Course for Coaches, offered by Third Way Leadership. A strong ally, I am committed to making the world a better place for us all, one conversation at a time.
